Gift Giver / Wednesday, September 11, 2019 / Categories: Story of Giving Grace & Grieving Sarah Tardio This story of giving is from Sarah Tardio On Sept 6 an acquaintance of my daughter gave birth to her 4th little girl. Her other girls are 13,9, and 7. Two hours after delivery the mother died. She had been told earlier that she a tumor in her abdomen and needed to have surgery. She refused to do anything to harm the baby and made the decision to wait til after her daughter was born. She told no one. So even though they attempted surgery after delivery they could not save her. She was described as a beautiful soul, kind ,sharing, loving and very devote in her faith. The husband who is a laborer will have to continue to work even with a newborn. Fortunately they are supported by a loving Hispanic community. But the family's needs are great. So I decided to give Good Shepherd's donation to this family. My husband and I and my daughter and her husband matched the donation so $300. will be given to the family. This gift from Good Shepherd was such a Godsend fo this family. Thank you so much for your generosity. The baby's name is Isabella. We will pray for them and all those whose stories we receive- that they may know God's love especially through times of difficuly and sorrow. 9/16/2019 9:23 PM Leave a comment Name: Please enter a name.
