Gift Giver / Monday, September 30, 2019 / Categories: Story of Giving Peaches Bully Rescue Brenda Fuentes This story of giving is from Brenda Fuentes Our family came home after receiving a $250 check and made a long list of worthy causes to which we could donate during our Sunday family meeting. Two weeks later, we discussed the options and voted. We donated the money to Peaches Bully Rescue, a nonprofit dog rescue for bully breeds (and bullies at heart!) in West Chester, OH. Our family fosters for the rescue and see first hand what a difference the rescue makes. We take in dogs that are owner-surrenders, overflow from area shelters, or found homeless. We've seen the cruelty some dogs have endured but also experience their resilience as we get them get them healthy and show them love. This week the rescue is expecting 11 French Bulldogs from a puppy mill in Ohio with more coming in the following weeks. This money will go directly towards their care.
